Recently read about a quote by Zero Babu, a long time associate of the legendary MS Baburaj, how he literally adored Talat Mehmood and his compositions, mostly his vocal style. As we listen to Thamasamenthe Varuvan, we realise this could be nothing else than a way of offering tribute to the genius of Talat Mehmood. Though both the compositions are not far away from each other in composition and melody, the situations and the emotions both convey are in their separate ways, complete, ethereal and beautiful.

The title of the film, i think is Dekh Kabira Roya. This film enriched with some of the melodious songs proves how deep and powerful hindustani music is. May i add one more song from the film sung by Manna Dey -Kaun Aaya, Mere Man Ke Dwaare.
