A tribute concert that celebrates the classic compositions of MK Arjunan Master will be held today evening at the Nishagandhi Auditorium. At the event, Arjunan Master will also be presented with the First Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to music by the Travancore Music Fraternity, a coalition of musicians from the various branches of Indian music. The Award includes a commemorative plaque and an amount of Rs.50,001 which would be handed over at the event, titled Pournamichandrika.

പി.ജയചന്ദ്രന്‍, പി.സുശീല, വാണിജയറാം, കെ.എസ്.ചിത്ര, ഉണ്ണിമേനോന്‍, എം.ജി.ശ്രീകുമാര്‍, ജി.വേണുഗോപാല്‍, റിമിടോമി തുടങ്ങി 22-ഓളം ചലച്ചിത്ര പിന്നണിഗായകരും 50-ല്‍പരം സംഗീത കലാകാരന്മാരും ‘പൗര്‍ണമിചന്ദ്രിക’യില്‍ അണിനിരക്കും. പ്രവേശനം സൗജന്യമായിരിക്കും. ട്രിവാന്‍ഡ്രം മ്യൂസിക് ഫ്രട്ടേര്‍ണിറ്റി സെക്രട്ടറി ഒ.വി.ആര്‍., പ്രോഗ്രാം ഡയറക്ടര്‍ അശോകന്‍, ട്രഷറര്‍ ജോസ്, സുരേഷ് എന്നിവരും പത്രസമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
